Here's the best of what I've learned this week in the marketing and productivity world! Headshot Pro - A.I. ToolHeadshot Pro: I don’t know about you, but some of my profile pics are pictures of my younger self. It’s time for me to update them, but I procrastinate, because it's usually a long frustrating process to get one where my eyes stay open! AI to the rescue! Now you and I have no excuse - get a better professional headshot on your website, in your LinkedIn profile, your resume, and any other social media profiles. Upload 6 selfies and this tool will generate 40 ($29) to 240 ($59) different headshots, changing your clothes, the background and angle. Job seekers I know are using this tool- it's easy and fast. My take on Threads so farLast week I wrote about a brand new social media profile, Threads. What I like about it so far- there is a small opportunity to have real conversations. I follow some big names, and on Threads you can tell they are the ones writing the posts, not someone they’ve hired to write and post in their name. And because it's a new platform you can be one of the few people who reply. Some people are also just sharing their thoughts, so you get more of an inside look at how people think. It’s not like Instagram where everything feels more polished and carefully crafted. This may not last- Threads will change and the way people use it will change. There’s a lot of work to be done to make it better, and it's too soon to say if it will get better or worse. You can find me @julie.ruark My Best ChatGPT PromptsThis week ChatGPT was my writing assistant and tutor. ChatGPT helped me write a 3 paragraph story about an ideal client overcoming challenges with the help of a service provider/coach. I used several prompts: Prompt #1: Pretend you are a (describe your ideal client specifically)What are your most painful problems? Prompt #2: What are some of the emotions you might be feeling as this type of business owner? Then I specifically focused on the painful emotions in the list, and asked, Prompt #3: What's the opposite of these painful emotions? Prompt #4: Could you write 3 paragraphs for a landing page that tell the story of this business owner going from (bad feelings to good feelings) because of working with me? How I Used This and Why It Was Helpful: I did this not to use the story in a manipulative way, but to think through the transformation I offer on an emotional level. Does this story match what my clients actually experience? How does this help me communicate to others who will see themselves in this story? I really like the rough draft I got from this process, and have some more rewriting to do to get the language to a place that feels like I’m really communicating authentically. But this is really speeding up the writing process! Let me know if you try it for your business! What I'm Working on Next Week$9 Offers- Get It Done Week I’ll be creating my own strategic, bite-sized $9 offer for my business, with Elizabeth Goddard’s help, and then promoting it to her 32K+ list. (If I get it done by the deadline!) This is a fun and super practical challenge. That's all the news for this week!
